We are working with our client, an award winning provider of private wealth, fund and corporate administration services, to appoint a Senior Fund Accountant to join our their team in St Peter Port, Guernsey. This is a permanent opportunity within a growing funds platform where you will play a key role in delivering accurate accounting, exceptional client service and supporting our client’s continued investment in Guernsey as a leading international finance centre.
Quality client service – able to understand client expectations and deliver a responsive, professional service throughout the fund and corporate lifecycle.
Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP – strong technical understanding to prepare and review statutory financial statements and specialised reporting.

Deadline orientation – able to manage workloads, prioritise effectively and work flexibly to meet regulatory and client timelines.
Interpersonal and communication skills – builds close working relationships with colleagues, clients, advisors and auditors, with strong attention to detail.
Technical financial services knowledge – keeps up to date with regulatory and legal requirements impacting funds and corporate structures.
Ability to work independently – comfortable taking ownership of tasks and leading processes such as client audits.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate bookkeeping for fund and corporate structures.
Prepare bank reconciliations, including detailed analysis of cash payments and receipts.
Set up entity, investor and related data in the accounting system.
Prepare and proof statutory financial statements and specialised investor reporting.
Lead client audit processes and manage queries from clients, advisors and auditors.
Strong understanding of what quality client service looks like in a fund administration environment.
Good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
Ability to demonstrate excellence and continuous improvement in your work.
Deadline-driven approach with collaborative and flexible working style.
Currently studying towards ACCA / ACA or equivalent.
