Home » Senior Business Development Coordinator
We are working with our client, a leading financial services firm in St Helier, Jersey, to appoint a Senior Business Development Coordinator to our client’s team. This is a permanent, non-client-facing position where you’ll play a central role in planning, executing, and evaluating business development activity across their fiduciary business, providing the committee with trusted analytical and coordination support.
Business development analysis: Using data to track pipelines, conversion rates and revenue, turning insights into clear management information and dashboards.
CRM expertise: Acting as a key user, ensuring data integrity, driving best practice and guiding colleagues on system use.
Project and committee coordination: Organising committee meetings, agendas, minutes and action tracking to support governance and strategic initiatives.
Market and competitor research: Conducting market mapping and desk research to support “go-to-market” planning and intermediary programmes.
Stakeholder communication: Building effective relationships with senior stakeholders and coordinating responses to RFPs and due diligence requests.
Report and document preparation: Producing proposals, pitches, briefing packs and client-facing presentations with high attention to detail.
Track and manage new business opportunities, referrals and prospective client engagements.
Prepare high-quality proposals, pitches and presentation materials for clients and intermediaries.
Produce regular management information, dashboards and performance reports.
Conduct market, competitor and intermediary research to identify new business opportunities.
A good academic background, educated to a minimum of A levels (or equivalent).
A relevant professional qualification.
At least 5 years’ experience in a professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Office and data-driven reporting.
Excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
