A growing financial services firm is seeking a Fund Administrator to join its Transfer Agency team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of a range of fund structures, working closely with senior team members to ensure the smooth administration of daily dealing funds. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and gain exposure to multiple aspects of fund administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day administration of daily dealing funds.
  • Reconcile client bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Process payments to investors and agents, including inter-account transfers.
  • Receive and record dealing instructions, ensuring accurate collation for each dealing day.
  • Support the calculation of front-end fees, redemption fees, and trail commissions.
  • Review, check, and issue contract notes.
  • Process stock transfers and maintain accurate investor records.
  • Open new investor accounts and review due diligence documentation.
  • Liaise with external parties, including auditors, fund managers, and third-party administrators.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within fund administration or transfer agency.
  • A professional qualification in a relevant financial discipline is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with fund administration systems (Paxus knowledge is desirable).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
