We are working with our client, a respected financial services business in St Helier, Jersey, to appoint a Fund Administration Manager on a permanent basis. This is a key position within our client’s team, offering responsibility for overseeing fund administration activities, supporting high-quality service delivery to sophisticated clients, and playing an important role in the continued growth of their Jersey operation.

 

Skills

  • Fund administration expertise – Ability to oversee day-to-day administration processes for funds, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • People and team management – Capability to lead and support members of our client’s team, coordinating workloads and encouraging a collaborative working environment.
  • Attention to detail – Strong focus on accuracy to help ensure fund records, reports and documentation are maintained to a high standard.
  • Organisational skills – Skilled at prioritising tasks and managing deadlines in a fast-paced financial services environment.
  • Stakeholder communication – Confident in building relationships with internal colleagues and external parties, supporting clear and professional communication.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and oversee the administration of a portfolio of funds based in Jersey.
  • Coordinate and support members of our client’s team involved in fund administration activities.
  • Maintain accurate fund records and documentation in line with internal standards.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support the smooth running of fund structures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the fund administration function.

What you’ll need

  • Proven experience working within fund administration or a closely related function.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Comfort working within a structured financial services environment.
  • A proactive and responsible approach to managing operational tasks.
