We are working with our client, a respected organisation in the Corporate Services sector, to appoint a Financial Control Manager based in St Peter Port, Guernsey. This is a permanent opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding financial integrity, shaping robust controls, and supporting strategic decision-making as a trusted member of our client’s team.

 

Skills

  • Financial control expertise – Overseeing the accuracy of financial records, ensuring strong control frameworks, and supporting sound financial governance.

  • Corporate services awareness – Understanding the environment in which corporate structures operate, allowing you to align financial control with wider business needs.

  • Analytical mindset – Interpreting financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and presenting clear insights to senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Support and enhance financial control frameworks for our client.

  • Oversee accurate and timely financial information and reporting.

  • Contribute to risk management and compliance initiatives.

  • Partner with key stakeholders across our client’s team.

  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.

What you’ll need

  • Experience working in a financial control or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and controls.

  • Ability to analyse complex financial information.

  • Clear, confident communication skills with stakeholders.

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach within a corporate environment.
