The Assistant Director – Data Analysis and Returns Team leads the delivery of high-quality data analysis and statutory reporting. The role ensures accurate, timely data outputs that support strategic decision-making and meet all regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Data Analysis and Returns Team, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
  • Oversee the production of accurate data analysis, insights, and reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory returns, ensuring full compliance.
  • Maintain robust data quality, validation, and governance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, reporting tools, and processes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective data collection and use.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to support organisational planning.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in data analysis, reporting, and managing returns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and data governance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
