We are working exclusively with our client in Jersey to appoint a Deputy Managing Director to support the strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of a successful fund-focused business. This is a key senior position, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and our client’s team to drive operational excellence, client service and sustainable growth within Jersey’s dynamic funds sector.
Skills
- Fund sector expertise – Deep understanding of fund structures, operations and regulatory environment within Jersey and other relevant jurisdictions.
- Strategic leadership – Ability to help set and execute business strategy, aligning our clients’ teams around clear objectives and performance standards.
- Operational oversight – Skilled in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality service delivery and strong risk management.
- Stakeholder management – Comfortable engaging with senior clients, regulators and internal stakeholders to build trusted, long-term relationships.
- People leadership – Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and accountable culture.

What you’ll need
- Extensive experience in the fund sector, ideally in Jersey or similar markets.
- Proven track record in a senior leadership or deputy leadership position.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of fund business drivers.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in decision-making and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
