A leading name in global private banking is recruiting a Non-Financial Risk Trainee to join our client’s team in St Peter Port, Guernsey. This is a permanent opportunity within their Chief Risk Office, offering a structured trainee programme that immerses you in wealth management, non-financial risk and the wider 2nd line of defence function.

What you’ll do
- Support the Guernsey Branch Risk Management Framework.
- Review and approve operational incident risk assessments.
- Assist in managing the local control plan.
- Contribute to Key Risk Indicator reporting.
- Prepare Management Information for risk meetings and committees.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or similar, or relevant industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Confidence in communicating and presenting at all levels.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
