SME – Private Equity Administration FTC

We are looking for a qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Private Equity Administration for the Global Private Capital Services team in Jersey. This role involves the accurate administration and accounting of private equity, property, and infrastructure funds, including investment companies, unit trusts, and limited partnerships.

As a senior team member, the successful candidate will oversee the preparation of management accounts, financial statements (under UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, or AUS), and complex calculations such as management fees, carried interest, and waterfalls. They will also lead on client queries, audits, and the implementation of improved procedures. Acting as the first point of contact for some clients, they will also support new business development by contributing to proposals and attending pitches.

This role suits a professionally qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong experience in fund administration. The candidate should have excellent technical accounting knowledge, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and experience coaching junior staff. Prior exposure to private equity and Jersey fund structures is preferred.
