We are working with our client, a respected organisation within the banking sector in St Peter Port, Guernsey, to appoint a Senior Operational Risk Manager on a fixed-term contract basis. This is a key temporary position within our client’s team, focused on strengthening operational risk practices and supporting robust governance across the business.
Skills
- Operational risk management – overseeing and enhancing frameworks, policies, and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across the organisation.
- Stakeholder engagement – working closely with senior leaders and wider teams to promote a strong risk culture and ensure clear communication of risk-related issues.
- Analytical thinking – reviewing risk data, incidents, and trends to provide insightful reporting and drive informed decision-making.
- Regulatory awareness – maintaining an understanding of relevant banking regulations and standards to support compliant risk practices.

What you’ll do
- Lead and refine our client’s operational risk framework and associated policies.

- Support regulatory and internal reviews relating to operational risk.
