Senior Fund Accountant

Our client, a respected leader in the fund sector, seeks a dedicated Senior Fund Accountant to manage the financial aspects of their private equity structures. Based in picturesque St Peter Port, Guernsey, this permanent role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team while elevating your expertise in fund accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare financial statements, quarterly reports, and account statements to audit standards for general partner entities and investment vehicles.
• Conduct calculations for carried interest, capital adequacy, management fee waivers, and other incentive arrangements.
• Manage regulatory and tax submissions while collaborating with auditors and addressing investor queries.
• Provide a first review of fund accountants’ work and assist on strategic accounting projects.
• Support banking operations, payment processing, and oversee FATCA, CRS filings, and tax compliance matters.

What You’ll Need

• Proven private equity and/or fund experience.
• Proficiency in UK GAAP and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills alongside a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• A professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• A passion for accuracy, transparency, and delivering high-quality work to stakeholders.
