Senior Compliance Professional

We are looking for a Compliance Professional to join a renowned Financial Services firm. This role also involves assuming the Prescribed Position roles of Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Money Laundering Compliance Officer for clients while representing a leading company.

Key responsibilities include managing regulatory filings for regulated funds, developing and reviewing policies and procedures, overseeing compliance monitoring programmes, and maintaining key risk registers. The successful candidate will also prepare compliance reports, ensure AML/CFT risk assessments remain current, oversee client risk reviews, support new business proposals, and contribute to training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in Guernsey’s finance compliance or risk sector and be working towards or holding a recognised compliance qualification. A strong understanding of the local regulatory environment, particularly in the investment and funds sector, is essential. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills are required. Prior experience in a Prescribed Position role would be beneficial but is not essential.
