We’re working with our client, a respected pensions specialist in St Peter Port, Guernsey, who is looking to add a Pensions Administrator – Member Services to our client’s team. This is a permanent opportunity to build your career in pensions, supporting members of UK, Channel Island, Isle of Man and international schemes, while benefiting from structured development and a supportive, people-focused environment.
Confident communication: Acting as first point of contact for members via telephone, email and in person, handling queries clearly and professionally.
Administrative capability in financial services: Using organised, accurate processes to support pension scheme administration (experience an advantage but not essential).
Competent maths skills: Applying numerical accuracy to benefit calculations and payments, with GCSE grade C or equivalent preferred.
MS Office proficiency: Using Word, Excel and Outlook to maintain records, produce letters and manage member information.
Attention to detail: Ensuring member records, documentation and transactions are correct and compliant.
Act as the first point of contact for scheme members by phone, email and face to face.
Support members with enquiries about their accounts, services and benefits.
Maintain accurate records of member interactions and pension transactions.
Produce supporting documentation, including letters and member communications.
Process and pay member benefits using online banking systems and benefit calculations.
Confident communication skills across telephone, email and in-person interactions.
Good general administrative skills, ideally within financial services.
Competent maths skills, with GCSE grade C or equivalent preferable.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and a careful, accurate working style.
