We’re looking for a Multiskilled Main Layer to join the friendly team in Guernsey. In this hands-on role, the individual will help maintain and upgrade the island’s gas distribution network.
The successful candidate’s work will cover mains replacements, service installations, maintenance, emergency response, and liaising with the public and contractors. They will also support fault finding, data collection, and hazard resolution.
The ideal candidate willl need NCO (Gas) Level 2 in Service and Mains Laying, ELR, Utility SHEA – Gas, EUSR registration, and a full clean driving licence. A good understanding of gas networks, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.
