We are working with our client, a respected organisation in the Corporate Services sector, to appoint a Manager, Data Assurance based in St Peter Port, Guernsey. This is a permanent opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing data controls, governance and integrity across our client’s team, supporting high-quality decision-making and robust regulatory and commercial outcomes.
Data assurance leadership – overseeing data quality, integrity and control frameworks to ensure reliable information for the business.
Risk and control mindset – identifying data-related risks and implementing practical controls to mitigate them within a corporate services environment.
Stakeholder management – working closely with senior leaders and operational teams to understand data needs and drive consistent standards.
Analytical thinking – interpreting complex data issues, spotting patterns and recommending clear, actionable improvements.
Process improvement – reviewing existing data processes and championing changes that enhance accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
Lead data assurance activities across our client’s team to support accurate and reliable reporting.
Develop and maintain robust data governance and control practices.
Work with stakeholders to assess data risks and implement appropriate mitigations.
Monitor and review data processes, recommending enhancements where needed.
Support the ongoing development of a strong data culture within our client’s organisation.
Experience in a data-focused or data assurance role within a professional or corporate services environment.
Demonstrable understanding of data quality, governance and control principles.
Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels.
Ability to analyse complex information and present clear, concise findings.
A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
