We are partnering with our client, a respected organisation within the Guernsey trust sector, to appoint a Global Head of Client Accounting. This is a senior strategic position, leading client accounting activity across multiple jurisdictions and shaping processes that support complex trust and fiduciary structures. As part of our client’s team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting and client service, influencing global standards and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

- Client accounting leadership: Provide direction and oversight for all client accounting activities globally, ensuring consistency, accuracy and timely delivery.
- Strategic thinking: Develop and implement accounting frameworks and best practices that align with our clients’ long-term objectives.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored accounting solutions.
- Process optimisation: Review existing workflows and introduce improvements to enhance efficiency and control within client accounting operations.
- Risk and compliance awareness: Maintain robust controls and support adherence to regulatory expectations within the trust sector.
What you’ll do
- Lead global client accounting activities across our client’s team based in St Peter Port and other locations.
- Set and maintain accounting standards and policies for client structures within the trust sector.
- Oversee delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Work closely with senior management to align accounting processes with business strategy.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the client accounting function.
What you’ll need
- Experience operating at a senior level within client accounting or a related financial discipline.
- Background in or exposure to the trust sector and fiduciary environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop accounting teams.
- Proven capability in managing complex accounting workflows and deliverables.
- Comfort working in a global role with multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.
