Credit and Lending Services Officer

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Credit and Lending Services officer to join an international banking and wealth management group in Guernsey.

As a crucial part of the Credit and Lending Services Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing time sensitive support to group’s Legal Risk throughout the life of the loan. This is to enable the group to maintain a high level of client service, experience and professionalism which is a fundamental and core selling point for the wider high net worth lending business.

The role will specifically involve:

• supporting the deal team on the banking system to ensure all the loan details are uploaded correctly as the deal progresses
• providing administrative support to the deal team to enable the conditions of the loan to be tracked and progressed, obtaining updates from external lawyers and relationship managers as required
• Providing support during drawdown of the loan and all matters to be addressed post drawdown, including setting up standing order and direct debits and client care letters
• Dealing with queries from relationship managers and external parties, update all parties on progress of the loan where required
