What You’ll Do
- Provide expert compliance guidance and regulatory support across the business.
- Support the identification, assessment and management of regulatory compliance risks.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
- Coordinate regulatory communications, submissions and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Prepare compliance reporting, management information and governance updates for senior stakeholders.
- Support compliance monitoring programmes, risk assessments and control reviews.
- Review and enhance policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor and support the development of team members.
- Contribute to regulatory change initiatives, projects and business improvement activities.
- Promote a strong culture of compliance, governance and risk awareness throughout the organisation.
What You’ll Need
- Significant experience within compliance, risk or regulatory functions, ideally within a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory obligations and governance best practices.
- Experience interpreting regulations and providing practical, risk-based advice.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Previous leadership, coaching or people management experience.
- Professional compliance qualifications or a commitment to ongoing professional development would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to balance regulatory requirements with commercial objectives.
