Commercial Lead ( Contracts & Energy Markets )

We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Lead ( Contracts & Energy Markets ) to join a well-established Guernsey energy provider business.

The role is responsible for the management of all aspects of the commercial relationship between the business and external suppliers engaged in the delivery of products and services. Specifically, the role is:

• Responsible for representing the interests of the company in all commercial aspects of major capital projects / contractual agreements including effective market engagement.
• Responsible for acting as lead contractual negotiator on behalf of the company.
• Responsible for mitigating financial and reputational risks relating to the commercial relationships held between the company and external suppliers during the delivery and lifetime of such projects including contract design and high quality management.
• Responsible for advising the Chief Finance Officer and senior executive with regards to the status of all commercial risks and issues arising during the lifecycle of major capital projects / commercial supply contracts.
