We are working with our client, a respected organisation within the Guernsey trust sector, to appoint a Business Development / Relationship Manager based in St Peter Port on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening and growing relationships with high-value clients, becoming a trusted point of contact within our client’s team and helping to drive strategic growth in a highly regarded fiduciary environment.

 

Skills

  • Business Development – proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities to grow our client’s trust portfolio, while maintaining a strong commercial focus.
  • Relationship Management – building, nurturing and retaining long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a central liaison and ensuring exceptional service levels.
  • Client Communication – engaging confidently with stakeholders, clearly explaining trust services and solutions, and managing expectations with professionalism.
  • Strategic Thinking – understanding the trust market in Guernsey, spotting trends and contributing ideas that support our client’s long-term objectives.
  • Collaboration – working closely with our client’s team across functions to deliver a seamless, coordinated service to clients.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and grow a portfolio of trust clients in St Peter Port and the wider Guernsey market.
  • Act as a primary contact for key client relationships, ensuring a high standard of ongoing service.
  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities within the trust sector.
  • Collaborate with our client’s team to tailor trust solutions to individual client needs.
  • Support our client’s broader growth strategy through market insight and relationship-led initiatives.

What you’ll need

  • Experience working with clients in a professional services or fiduciary environment.
  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and interest in the Guernsey trust sector.
  • Clear, confident communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of our client’s team to achieve shared goals.
