Key responsibilities include maintaining client records, preparing bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, and producing management accounts. The successful candidate will also assist in preparing investor capital accounts, VAT returns, and annual financial statements. Additionally, they will support senior staff throughout the audit process and contribute to team projects aimed at improving processes and record-keeping.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude. They should be comfortable managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines and be eager to learn and develop in a team-oriented environment. While previous bookkeeping or accounting knowledge is desirable, it is not essential- what matters most is a willingness to learn and a commitment to pursuing specific qualifications.
