This is a fantastic opportunity for a Accounts Payable / Receivable Assistant to join a leading commercial business group in the Channel Islands on a 6 Month Contract.

 

Principle Accountabilities :

• Reconciliation of customer/supplier accounts, resolving reconciling items as far as possible and escalating issues as necessary.
• Efficient, accurate and timely processing of customer/supplier invoices.
• Efficient and timely payment of suppliers and collection of debts.
• Efficient and timely processing and allocation of cash paid and received.
• Monitor age of accounts payable and receivable, escalating problem accounts as appropriate.
• Deal with difficult customers who have exceeded their credit terms.
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts, resolving reconciling items and escalating problem accounts as necessary.
• Produce supplier payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed terms and allocating payments to the correct supplier & invoice.
