Our client, a leader in the trust sector, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Company Secretary (Part-Time) to join their professional team in St Helier, Jersey. This is a strong opportunity for a professional ready to make an impact in a flexible, permanent part-time role, supporting the company’s governance practices.

 

What you’ll do

  • Provide expert governance advice and support to our client’s team for regulatory and procedural matters.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and maintain statutory records accurately and effectively.
  • Prepare and distribute board packs, agendas, and minutes for meetings in line with corporate governance protocols.
  • Liaise with directors, stakeholders, and external regulators to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Assist with company secretarial matters related to the trust sector, ensuring excellence and timeliness in execution.

What you’ll need

  • Strong organisational skills to manage records and coordinate between key stakeholders seamlessly.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, ensuring meticulous preparation and review of documents.
  • Proficiency in managing governance requirements and understanding regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience within the trust sector, or related industry experience, is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration.
