Trust Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust Officer to become an integral part of an esteemed financial institution located in St Peter Port, Guernsey. If you have a passion for fund management and trust administration coupled with meticulous attention to detail, this permanent position is your next career milestone.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Liaising effectively with clients and professionals such as bankers and brokers.
• Taking on new business while ensuring efficient general administration of trusts & companies.
• Meticulously maintaining statutory records alongside periodic file reviews including client billing & collection tasks.
• Evaluating complex agreements like property contracts among other legal documents critically.
• Supervising trainees within the company’s training programs whilst managing their development progress efficiently.
• Covering any additional duties that align with organizational needs when necessary.

Necessary Skills & Experience:

• An ICSA or STEP qualification (or being part-qualified) showcases your foundational knowledge.
• A minimum 5 years’ experience demonstrates your hands-on expertise in trust administration.
• Your ability to dissect highly technical documentation reflects strong analytical skills
• Precision-focused approach ensures keen attention paid towards every operational aspect
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel Word required; learning Viewpoint system is also expected
• Proven managerial capabilities highlight leadership potential and willingness to work closely with others
