We are seeking a Trust Manager / Assistant Manager to take responsibility for a client portfolio and support the Client Manager in overseeing the administration team for a leading Financial Services firm in St Peter Port, Guernsey.
Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients, mentoring and advising team members, ensuring efficient systems and processes are in place, and maintaining high technical and compliance standards. The successful candidate will also assist the Team Manager in meeting client needs, monitoring billing and receivables, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Additionally, they will be responsible for staff training, appraisals, and workload management to ensure a smooth and effective working environment.
The ideal candidate will be STEP, ICSA, ACCA, or ACA qualified (or working towards a qualification) and have significant experience in trust and company administration. Strong technical skills, leadership ability, and excellent communication are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a busy team. Experience with bespoke IT systems and a commitment to high standards of integrity and efficiency are also key.
