Responsibilities will include:
– Assisting with trust and company tax reporting across Crown Dependencies & UK jurisdictions.
– Reviewing financial statements ensuring accurate reflection of taxable activities.
– Contributing to economic substance analysis for corporate entities.
– Facilitating effective communication between departments regarding taxation matters.
– Drafting correspondence with taxing authorities concerning filings and payments due diligence efforts
– Maintaining detailed compliance records through meticulous spreadsheet management
Skills required :
Numeracy Skills: You’ll need strong mathematical acumen to handle figures accurately during report preparations or reviews
Computer Literacy: Proficiency using various software packages facilitates task efficiency especially when managing databases or spreadsheets
Communication Prowess: Clear articulation both written/verbal ensures seamless interaction internally/externally while addressing queries/resolving issues related directly and indirectly to taxes owed/received
Can-do Attitude: An optimistic outlook coupled with proactive initiative drives success even when challenging situations arise
Team Collaboration: Working cohesively with others essential to delivering top-notch services collectively meeting set objectives and deadlines
