We’re looking for a Trainee Commercial Broker to join a local Insurance firm in St Helier, Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to build long-term client relationships while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, selecting, and selling commercial insurance products to new and existing clients. They will work closely with underwriters and insurers to negotiate the best cover and terms for clients while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The candidate will also review and manage a portfolio of clients, staying informed about market trends to provide the most suitable insurance solutions at competitive prices.
We’re seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. Experience in insurance broking is preferred but not essential. A willingness to work towards a relevant professional qualification is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and adapt to change while maintaining a high standard of service.
