We are seeking an ambitious and analytical individual passionate about numbers to join a leading firm of actuaries and consultants as a Trainee Actuary in Investment Services. In this position, the Successful Candidate will work within St Peter Port’s financial hub and grow professionally while contributing to investment strategies. They will be responsible for conducting comprehensive investment performance analyses, reviewing potential investments, and utilising complex mathematical models for forecasting various strategic outcomes.
To qualify for this role, the Ideal Candidate must have A-Level Mathematics (A-B Grade) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel. A degree background related primarily in Maths or Science disciplines, as well as familiarity with Visual Basic or equivalent programming tools, would be beneficial.
We are looking for candidates with strong numerical abilities, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise efficiently amidst competing demands. The selected candidate will receive support from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries exams, adding value to personal development and career advancement. Previous experience in financial services or office environments is desirable.
