We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Temporary Senior Finance Officer to join the finance team. This role is key to supporting the team in day-to-day financial operations and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Key responsibilities include managing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing tasks completed by the wider finance team (including agency payments, MOU returns, and bank reconciliations), and assisting with the production of subsidiary management accounts. The successful candidate will also help cover finance team duties during staff absences and support continuous process improvement initiatives alongside the Head of Finance.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced accounting professional with strong reconciliation skills, a methodical approach, and excellent attention to detail. Experience with accounting systems such as Sage Line 200 is desirable, and a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
