We are looking for an experienced analytical data scientist to join a team in St Peter Port, Guernsey. As a key member of a Quant III Project, you will play a critical role in developing solutions using advanced machine learning techniques, natural language processing methodologies, optimisation strategies, and cognitive computing technologies.
In this role, you will work closely with a team of experts to identify, design, and implement data models that will drive business growth and efficiency. You will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, identifying patterns and trends, and providing insight to inform business decisions. You will be expected to apply your expertise in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), optimisation, and cognitive computing to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
As a successful candidate, you will have a strong track record of delivering data-driven solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will be comfortable working with large datasets and have experience in using tools such as Python, R, and SQL. You will be passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and will have a proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
