Tax Senior Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified tax professional to join a dynamic team as a Senior Manager, working with a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly within the Financial Services sector. This role will involve overseeing a broad range of local and international tax compliance and advisory work, while also contributing to the development of new business opportunities through networking and strategic input. You’ll collaborate closely with directors and partners across the business and take an active role in shaping service offerings and internal initiatives.

As a senior member of the team, you will lead and mentor a cross-island group of associates, ensuring the effective delegation and delivery of work while supporting their professional development. The role offers the chance to expand your technical expertise across evolving tax legislation, including domestic corporate taxation, private equity, fund regimes, trusts, Pillar II, economic substance, international tax risk governance, AEOI (FATCA/CRS/CbCR), and more. In addition, you’ll be involved in thought leadership, delivering presentations, and supporting the development of innovative tax technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA, ACA, CTA or equivalently qualified, with significant experience in a tax role at senior manager level. Strong UK Corporation Tax knowledge-or experience in similar Commonwealth jurisdictions-is essential, along with a solid grasp of international tax principles such as transfer pricing. Jersey or Guernsey tax experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with clients in the Financial Services, Private Equity, Funds or Real Estate sectors would be beneficial, as would a proven ability to manage client relationships and develop junior team members.
