We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead a team for one of Jersey’s leading Financial Firms. This role will involve advisory work, delivering training sessions, and guiding clients on the latest UK and Jersey tax updates.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing client tax compliance, managing tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies, and ensuring timely and accurate filings. Key duties include managing WIP, debtors, and billing, identifying tax risks, liaising with third-party professionals, and contributing to business development. Additionally, the role requires training and mentoring team members to support their professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Jersey and UK tax, including distribution rules, VAT, non-resident landlords, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust taxation. A professional qualification (CGI/STEP, ACCA, ACA, or similar) is preferred, along with proven leadership and client management skills.
