A leading local firm located across the Channel Islands is seeking a talented Sustainability Analyst to join their team. As a Sustainability Analyst, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the banking sector, contributing directly to sustainable development and ethical practices. The key accountabilities will include developing key sustainability strategies, collaborating across departments and external partners, analysing data related to specific performance metrics, ensuring alignment of strategy within broader group objectives, and driving adherence to United Nations Environment Programme principles.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need a degree (or equivalent experience) in Environmental Science or a related field, coupled with a solid grasp of relevant frameworks/regulations. They should also have demonstrated expertise within a similar capacity. Strong numerical acumen and advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, to analyse vital information effectively are also essential requirements.
