We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Senior Manager – Prudential Policy with our client, a leading organisation within the Financial Services industry based in St Helier, Jersey. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping Jersey’s prudential regulatory landscape, ensuring a balance between strong regulatory standards and maintaining the island’s competitive advantage as an International Financial Centre.

The Role

As a Senior Manager in this pivotal position, you will:

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of prudential codes and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Government of Jersey to support relevant law changes, adhering to international standards and best practices.
  • Craft user-friendly regulatory frameworks to facilitate effective industry adoption.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, agile team to deliver exceptional outcomes in a constantly evolving regulatory setting.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to implement sound, agreed-upon policy positions.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience with Jersey’s financial services legal and regulatory framework.
  • Strong knowledge in prudential regulation, gained through experience in industry, government, or regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional leadership skills complemented by a capability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, able to present complex information effectively.
  • A strategic mindset to forecast policy needs and navigate regulatory shifts.
