Experienced Senior Manager required to join the team in the Operations & Risk division for a leading Financial services firm based in St Peter Port, Guernsey.
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include developing risk policies, procedures, and guidance based on Group standards, crafting controls for mitigating risks, and providing assurance over key controls. Additionally, they will collate reports across various business units and present these findings at committee levels concerning potential risk factors.
To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate must have a degree level education, or possession of relevant professional qualifications, and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with risk frameworks specific to regulation adherence. The candidate must also possess essential skills, including communication, self-motivation, quantitative analysis, and commercial awareness. Additionally, strong analytical prowess must aid decision-making through scrutinising numerical data effectively.
