Senior IT Support Technician

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Senior IT Support Technician who’s passionate about making technology work seamlessly for people. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring that our IT infrastructure, applications and systems support the wider business to deliver an exceptional service to clients. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our outsourced IT provider, manage the support and evolution of our software landscape, and be a trusted technical point of contact for users across the business.

Day to day, you’ll ensure the smooth running of critical business applications such as Plainsail, SharePoint, and the Microsoft suite. You’ll troubleshoot issues, manage upgrades, and liaise with suppliers – all while helping to shape how we use technology effectively. You’ll also play a role in training users and ensuring security, continuity and performance standards are met. The role includes contributing to IT strategy and projects, deputising for the Head of IT when required, and acting as a super user across the tech stack.

We’re looking for someone with at least five years of experience in an IT or application support role, ideally within financial services, who has the confidence and capability to take ownership, communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues, and find smart solutions to everyday challenges.
