Our legal Client in St Helier, Jersey is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as the Senior Governance Officer. The Successful Candidate will be responsible for managing and organising meetings, maintaining registers and lists, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. They will be expected to form positive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure the governance support function works smoothly and effectively, as well as assisting with and responding to internal CDD requests and maintain the Firm’s global CDD request register.

An expertise in governance, familiarity with the UK Corporate Governance Code, and experience in a regulated environment will be crucial to the success in this role. The Ideal Candidate will need to be proficient in using modern tools and technologies to carry out duties effectively. They will also need excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and provide advice to senior management, as well as being well organised, efficient, proactive and diligent.
