We are seeking a Senior Officer Accountant to join the Private Equity Funds team of a leading local firm in St Helier, Jersey. This role offers a dynamic, international work environment.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of private equity funds clients, acting as the main accounting liaison and point of contact. The responsibilities include reviewing work, overseeing client operations, collaborating on periodic reports, and liaising with third parties such as investors. The candidate will also coach junior staff and support the manager in planning the fund accounting workflow.
To succeed, the ideal candidate should be a fully or part-qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with 3+ years of relevant experience. We seek candidates who are ambitious, energetic, and able to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, adaptability to software systems, and team spirit are essential.
