Senior Fund Accountant

The Senior Fund Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting for assigned structures.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing accounting deliverables and supporting team leadership.
• Reviewing payments, bookkeeping files, trial balances, financial statements, and audit or investor confirmations prepared by junior colleagues.
• Engaging with clients and auditors to meet deadlines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Processing and releasing payments in line with policies and procedures.
• Identifying and communicating exceptions affecting accounting records to management and assisting in their resolution.
• Preparing routine and ad hoc management reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong academic background and be part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills, providing clear direction and effective delegation.
• A collaborative approach, working with others to build partnerships to meet shared objectives.
• Proactivity and responsiveness.
• Analytical skills to effectively solve complex problems.
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
