We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Senior Administrator to join the Credit Operations team at an established Firm in Jersey. This role is essential in supporting the bank’s lending activities, working closely with Relationship Managers, Lending Specialists, and Credit Risk Management teams to ensure smooth and efficient credit operations.
Key responsibilities include overseeing credit procedures and loan administration, ensuring appropriate authorisations, and managing facility and security documentation. The successful candidate will produce facility letters, liaise with law firms and values, maintain client facility data, and assist with loan repayments and security releases. Additionally, they will support the arrangement of sub-participated facilities within the Butterfield Group and contribute to process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Experience in credit facilities issuance or general credit operations is preferred. Proficiency in IT systems and the ability to manage tasks efficiently under pressure are essential.
