Senior Counsel – Insolvency & Dispute Resolution

We have a unique opportunity for an ambitious Senior Lawyer to join a leading legal firm in Jersey in Jersey. This is an exciting chance to play a key role in building out this Client’s growing Channel Islands IDR practice while working alongside leading practitioners in a dynamic and expanding firm.

The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of contentious financial services matters, including multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes, trust litigation, corporate recovery, insolvency, and regulatory investigations. Clients include insolvency practitioners, banks, financial institutions, trustees, directors, shareholders, and large corporations. The candidate will also provide strategic legal guidance in corporate and partnership disputes, asset recovery, and commercial litigation before the Jersey Courts.

This role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 7+ years PQE in insolvency, commercial litigation, or trust litigation within a recognised practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent academics, strong technical legal skills, and a commercial mindset. Experience in Jersey or another offshore jurisdiction is preferred but not essential. The candidate must be a strong communicator, a team player, and proactive in business development and client relationship management.
