Senior Associate – Tax

Are you an experienced tax professional looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has opened up to support the Tax Line of Service, advising a diverse range of clients on both UK and Channel Islands tax matters. This role involves analysing complex information, drafting expert advice, and delivering a range of tax compliance services.

The position focuses on managing a significant portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance and timely submissions. You’ll also play a key role in supporting junior team members, overseeing the preparation of returns, and guiding their development. There’s a strong emphasis on communication and relationship-building, both internally and externally, with opportunities to represent the firm at industry events and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

Reporting to a Manager and supervising an Associate, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that values accuracy, initiative, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or otherwise professionally qualified, and bring 3 to 4 years of experience in a tax compliance or advisory setting.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage deadlines, assess risk, and use financial systems confidently. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, working methodically and independently, while also being a supportive team player who can build trust and contribute positively to client engagements.
