Senior Accounting Services Officer (12 Month FTC)

Our client, a leading financial services provider in Jersey, is seeking a Senior Accounting Services Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join their dynamic Shared Client Services team in St Helier. in this role, the Successful Candidate will be responsible for preparing annual accounts, liaising between bookkeeping and administration teams, managing spreadsheets, and contributing reports for senior management and compliance departments. In addition to these responsibilities, they will also be expected to manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest possible standard.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess ACA/ACCA credentials and have knowledge or experience in Private Wealth or Corporate Service accounting sectors. They should also display independence, initiative, commitment, excellence orientation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also a must, as they will be expected to liaise with clients and senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
