Research Analyst

Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Research Analyst working for an actuarial and consulting services company.

 

The duties of this role relate to co-ordination and analysis of research and consultancy projects and may include but are not limited to:

  • Design and plan research projects taking into consideration the research objectives, and the budget available for the research
  • Application of quantitative and qualitative research methods for data collection, including:
    o Development of research tools, including questionnaires,, topics guides for qualitative
    o Co-ordination, marketing and monitoring of online and face-to-face surveys
    o Co-ordination and facilitation of focus groups or one-to-one interviews
    o Analysis of statistical data (using Microsoft Excel)
  • Preparation of reports (using Microsoft PowerPoint) that reflect a clear understanding of the analysis and interpretation of the data collected
  • Ensuring all research activities comply with professional standards (i.e. Market Research society’s Code of Conduct)
  • Preparation of proposals and client documentation
  • Liaising with clients and attending client meetings
  • Marketing using social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Support to other team members (which may include temporary fieldworkers)
