Job Description

We have a new opportunity for a Receptionist to join a Guernsey leading law firm.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that the Switchboard is manned at all times;
  • Receive, greet and deal with all visitors to reception;
  • Set up reception at start of day and keep reception areas clean and tidy at all times;
  • Keep meeting rooms clean, tidy and stocked with consumables (pens/paper etc.) at all times;
  • Offer and provide refreshments for clients as appropriate. Clear rooms and replenish water etc;
  • Order lunches (if requested to do so), laying out in rooms as required and clearing rooms afterwards;
  • Booking of taxis for staff and clients as and when required;
  • Manage appointment diaries for meeting rooms. If meetings overrun then ensure there are rooms free for other clients. Notify secretaries/fee earners of change of rooms where necessary;
  • Deal with all in-bound and outbound courier deliveries, ensuring that these are accurately logged and reach the recipient in a timely manner;
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of the Firm’s client’s documentation and information;
