Project Manager

A highly regarded commercial company in Guernsey is looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee fire protection projects from inception to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of fire protection projects, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and execution. The ideal candidate should have proven construction management experience, pricing acumen, organisational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. They should be adept at working in a high-pressure environment and be able to manage complex projects with ease.

Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are a must. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard. They will also be expected to liaise with clients, architects, and engineers, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress.

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of safety compliance and regulatory familiarity, ensuring that all projects are completed following relevant regulations and standards. They should have a keen eye for detail, be able to identify potential risks and take corrective action to mitigate these risks.
