Professional Services Consultant – Modern Workplace & Cloud

As a Professional Services Consultant specialising in Modern Workplace & Cloud for a leading Telecommunications sector client, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and delivering cutting-edge cloud and software solutions. Leverage partnerships with industry giants like Microsoft to drive strategic directions and enhance business sales objectives within the robust framework of cloud services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Architect and deliver Cloud and Infrastructure solutions across diverse technologies and environments.
• Provide high-level pre-sales support, implementation, and third-level support, managing Modern Workplace and Managed IT practice.
• Align closely with Sales teams to support Cloud solution opportunities and design comprehensive solutions encompassing private and public clouds, DC hosting, storage, Daas, and server virtualisation.
• Develop technical solutions as a subject matter expert, serving as a technical liaison for prospects, customers, and sales teams across the cloud connectivity portfolio.
• Lead client implementations, ensuring high standards of delivery and quality.
• Drive financial and commercial forecasting for solutions aligned with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.

Essential Skills:

• Cloud Technologies Expertise: Profound experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS or VMware is crucial. The ability to integrate cloud services with on-premise networks is essential.
• Data Centre/Cloud Migration Experience: Previous involvement in migrating from on-premises to cloud environments is necessary.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding networking concepts to assist in designing robust infrastructure architectures.
