Payroll & Finance Clerk

We’re seeking a meticulous Payroll & Finance Clerk to join a dynamic finance department in Guernsey. This permanent role offers a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant team that values accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
– Input data into systems for payroll processing
– Assist with reconciliations for accurate payroll amounts
– Help with revenue reconciliation between PSS and ledgers/banking systems
– Process sales invoices promptly using the SAGE software system
– Conduct account reconciliations to maintain financial records precision

The successful candidate will provide shared services support focusing on payroll management averaging 15 hours per week and assisting Management Accounting up to 20 hours weekly. You’ll ensure all transactions capture completeness while supporting other clerks when necessary.

Key Duties:
– Maintain accurate employee information within payment systems
– Collate monthly business payrolls effectively
– Record daily corporate account transactions precisely
– Manage customer refunds/claims diligently
– Deliver timely reports ready for approval by relevant officers
– Identify opportunities aimed at improving existing accounting processes

We’re looking for individuals with strong process documentation skills, audit support experience, and detailed record-keeping abilities.
