We are pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for a Paralegal in the legal sector, based in St Peter Port. Our client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in an office environment, providing administrative support, and engaging directly with legal proceedings.

As a Paralegal, the primary responsibilities will include conducting due diligence and setting up new client matters, maintaining accurate records of active files, and archiving concluded cases. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and handling telephone queries. Additionally, will be expected to provide information retrieval to support legal decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will possess legal knowledge, and will need strong analytical research skills to dissect complex information and reach sound conclusions. They should possess an A-level standard education or equivalent. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential. Personal attributes such as ambition, commercial astuteness, exceptional planning skills, clear communication, and willingness to contribute to business development initiatives are essential.
