We are seeking a Management Accountant to join the finance team of a leading commercial firm in St Peter Port, Guernsey. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior management, providing key financial insights and driving process improvements.
The ideal candidate will prepare management accounts, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Working alongside the Financial Accountant, they will oversee revenue recognition, payables, and daily cash flow reporting. The candidate will also manage a small team, authorise bank payments, and support financial system advancements.
The ideal candidate should have experience in management and financial accounting, from trial balance to published results. Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with excellent organisational skills. A qualification or active training in ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent is needed, plus a degree in Finance or Business.
